At Hoof Harmony, we work together with horses to develop life skills.
At Hoof Harmony, we believe in the power of the horse-human connection. Our Equine Assisted Learning programs are designed to help individuals develop important life skills such as communication, trust, confidence, empathy, problem-solving and so much more.
We work with each individual to create a personalized, research-based program that meets their unique needs and goals.
Family and group workshops can also be tailored to the client's needs and desired outcomes.
We aspire to create programs that have a meaningful impact on the lives of those we work with.

Meet The Team
My name is Carla Van der Hoeven. I was born in Belgium and then moved to England when I was 5. This is where my love for horses started. I lived in England for 13 years, spending time with my horses whenever I could! After school, I continued my study in Equine management at Hartpury College. Having completed this course, I moved to the Netherlands where I gained a degree in Physiotherapy. This is where my combined passion for horses and people started to develop. I wrote my thesis on hippotherapy (the relation of how horses can help individuals struggling with fine and gross motor skills) enabling me to realise the true magic of horses. After completing my degree, I moved to Australia where I continued to follow my passion. I undertook a course with Equine Connection in Sydney which has enabled and inspired me to open this business. I aim to follow my dreams and help each individual see the magic of working with horses.
